Angelika Joswig took great photos of Amina again!

Msumari`s Aza Aloua has been in holiday in Finland with her family, and on the way back, they visited the dogshow in Tallinn (Estland). With a lot of finnish competition, Aloua got very promising in the puppy class

Besides this, I have new photos of  Aminouh with 8 month - times running!
And below, there are some new photos of Iloua & Aminouh!

She lost the uneven fight very fast
She was so much in pain
On a bench in a park under trees I did hold her in my arms and kissed her head while her lovely, beautiful, old and wise soul flew away
We are so sad

The first day without her and heaven is crying

She was on my side for over 15 years

It hurts so much
But all the beautiful memories are in our minds

We are having sad news...

Last thursday evening we had to go to the emergency animal hospital, because Asali obviously had pain around her stomach. The vet saw with ultrasound and x-ray that her liver ist very big and there are black spots in it. This, together with bad bloodtests means, that the chance ist very high, that she`s having livercancer!
She`s on painkillers now, together with a special liverdiet, and she gets pills as well against the bad results considering the kidneys.
She still eats with good appetite, and she obviously has got no pain at the moment - means that the painkillers are doing a good job.
The vet can`t make a definite prognosis, but livercancer is normally not benign and quite agressive!
I really hope, that there is left some time for us with her!

The two weeks of holidays with "Beau" (Msumari`s Ayo Azibo) went over very quickly, and what should I say - we had such a good time together with him!
Beau is - like his sister Aminouh - very lovely and cuddly, very teachable and obedient!

of Aminouh and Azibo!
Besides the following "action-photos" of our walks, I took some more, which I will put online the next days!

"Beau" (Msumari`s Ayo Azibo) is visiting us, and he`ll bring some colour into our 3-girls-home for the next 2 weeks!
Aminouh is very happy with her younger brother, mommy Iloua recognized him right from the beginning, and Asali is quite relaxt with the two little devils running around in the house!
I didn`t take my camera with me to our walks yet... - but I will the next days!

We are back from our lovely holidays in beautiful tuscany, and we had a great time again!
Asali and Iloua knew the dogbeach from the years before, but it was the first time for Aminouh at the ocean!
Therefore she took over Ilouas part of the last years very soon, and she had a lot of fun, running up and down the beach, say hello to everybody who was coming, and she played with all of them! Of course, Iloua was on her side most of the time, but she got a bit quiter in the meantime.
I took some photos and videos again, and I´ll put them on the page soon!

Too happy too soon...???

Something quite strange happend...
I got a letter from the OFA, with an excuse, that due to an evaluation error, the Fanconi test of my 3 girls of the Msumari`s A-Litter had been rerun. Now, Aminouh and Amina, who had been tested free first are tested as carrier now, and Aloua, who has been tested as carrier first, is free now!
To make the whole situation even more confuse, all 3 girls are listed now as carriers on the OFA list.
Really strange! Of course, I`ll try to find out, what happened!
It would be interessting, if something like this happened to an other breeder/owner as well? Pleaes contact me in case!
Of course, to be sure, I will test my girl Msumari`s Aza Aminouh again sometimes - and perhaps, there will be a 100% test till then!

A long and exciting weekend lays behind us...

After it was freezing cold till thursday, and getting really wet on our walks in the woods, weather changed completly to midsummer on friday!
We met Marion with Tsula and wet to the dogfestival at Greifenberg and had a shopping afternoon together.
Sunday, we went to the racecourt for the first time this year, and Iloua started the first time with a racing muzzle together with Tsula. Aminouh was with us, and she, according to her mommy , was very excited!
I didn`t take any photos, because the was no chance to handle two crazy basenjis and a camera! We only did one race, because it got over 30 ° then!
But we went to a basenjipromenade after, and there we met 10 basenjis with 9 humans, one child and 2 babies. Because it was so hot, we only made a short tour of 1,5 hours, and we were very lucky, when we came been back to the shadows of the beergarden!

Next weekend on sunday - it`s germanys first "Day of the dog" -  will be a basenjiwalk of the Basenjiklub of Germany nearby Dachau(Munich) and we will join it!

Aminouh lost her last baby-carnassial today! 2 hours before, I took a photo of it!
In the "Pic of the week" can be seen, how the new carnassial is already growing out!

Hard to believe, but after all the rain of the last days, we had a great whitsundayweekend with a lot of sun and warm temperatures!
We enyoyed the days, made long walks with the dogs and we have just been lazy - great!
Of course I took some pics this weekend - see below - and I finally took 2 stacked photos of Aminouh!

We had really bad weather this weekend and I had time to post some photos and videos.
There is a video of "Beau" (Msumari`s Ayo Azibo) and one of Aminouh (Msumari`s Aza Aminouh) from their first show at St. Gallen in Switzerland, and a video of the meeting of Aminouh and Adina (Amato Paolo`s Adina Asinara) during our holidays in Austria in april 2010!
And there ist a new video of Asali, Iloua & Aminouh from a walk the end of march!

We had an exciting weekend...

We have been in Switzerland at the show at St. Gallen, and Iloua got now the last two tickets for the Suisse Champion!
It was her first show after over 8 month, the first show after her litter, and she presented herself just perfect! She was judged on both days with V1 in the champion class, got the CAC and CACIB!
Iloua got now her fifth championtitl!

It was the first show of Msumari`s Aza Aminouh und Msumari`s Ayo Azibo, and both took the new situation very good!
"Beau" won on both days the male puppy class with very promising 1 and great reports!
Aminouh won the girls puppy class on both days as well and got best puppy.
As well she was with the best 5 puppys of the show on both days!

Ruben, the dad of our A-Litter won BOB on both days and BOG3 on sunday!

It was a very nice and sucessful weekend, I met Nora and her mom Urpu again, and the puppies were so happy, to meet each other again!
I took a familyphoto - which wasn`t that easy - and I took some new photos of "Beau"!
I´ll put them on his page the next days!

Great News!
The first Msumari`s Basenji - Msumari`s Aza Aloua -  was shown very sucessful on an International Dogshow! The show was held in Lodz/Poland!
Aloua won the girls puppy class, got a very promising and a great critic!
" In the middle phase of rapid growth, promising head, very good bone, right tail, excellent in movement."
Aloua looks exactly like her mommy, and we are very proud of our little "so-far-away-girl"!
Dorota did also send some new photos and a lovely video of Aloua, Kibibi & Szaman!
Thank you very much!

Alouas sister Amina has been at the north sea in south holland the last weekend, and on this video you can see, how much fun she and Dante had there!
Did anybody say, basenjis hate water???

After having a complete crash of my laptop, I´m slowly back again in the virtual world - not yet completly, but almost!
What happend during this time...
We had great easterholidays in Austria, but unfortunatly almost all photos I took got lost with the broken laptop. Some of them are saved on the cards, and I`ll put them in the gallery the next days.
In Austria we met  the black/white basenjigirl Amato Paolo`s Adina Asinara. Adina is 4 days younger than Aminouh, and they had a lot of fun!
From 16.-18.04. Nora & Beau (Msumari`s Ayo Azibo) visited us and we had an exciting weekend with dogschool, clickertraining and playing in the English Garden in  Munich.
I was so happy to see my little tri boy and Beau drove crazy to see me, Andreas, his mom and sister again!

I`m still waiting for the results of the boy Msumari`s Ayo Azibo.

I changed my homepage a little bit, and there is now the new category
"My Basenjis"! Aminouh and Azibo are listed now extra.
Besides this, each Basenji has got  the category videos, and there are already some nice
videos of Aminouh!
It`s not completly ready yet, but I´m working on it!
Saturday, we have been the first time in the puppyplayinggroup in the dogschool
Lucky Dogs of Anja Mack in Munich. After being a bit shy in the beginning, Aminouh had quite a lot of fun. Even more fun she had on our walk after the lesson in the English Garden!

And we had a private lesson in clicker traininglast week, and it`s amazing how fast Aminouh is learning!
Today I got some new photos of Amina - it´s great, how much is done for the puppies of my A-Litter!

The puppies are now 8 1/2 weeks old, and they are chipped, they got their shots, and the third anthelmintic therapy! Today, the people from the club (Susanne & Edgar Heckelsmüller) visited us again and everything was fine!
And finally, all the pups got their names, the new owners gave them!

Girl 1 is Msumari`s Aza Aminouh
Her weight today was 3692 gr, she was 25 cm tall and she is our keeper!
Girl 2 is Msumari`s Aza Amina
Her weight today was 3638 gr, she was 25,5 cm tall and she moves to Dortmund to Angelika & Hartmut Joswig and Weimaranergirl Dante!
Girl 3 is Msumari`s Aza Aloua
Her weight today was 3456 gr, she was 26 cm tall and she moves to Lodz in Poland to Dorota Müller with her Basenjigirl Nirse Kibibi and Retrieverboy Szaman!
Tri boy is Msumari`s Ayo Azibo
His weight today was 3780 gr, he was 27 cm tall and he moves to Switzerland/Finland to Nora Lindqvist and his daddy Ruben (Faraoland Xcuse Me Desmond).
And I keep him Co-Owned as well!

All puppies will be seen in the showring!
The next weekend I have to say good bye, and this will be very, very hard for me!
It`s my first litter and I love them so much! But I know, that they all found great new homes, and the new ownes are all looking forward to see them!

Yesterday, my dear friend Claudia visited us, and we had a great afternoon together with the pups!
Today, the puppies are 7 weeks old, and Nora, her mom Kristiina & Ruben visited us again!
Ruben didn`t like the pups that much, but Iloua allowed him to be in the puppyroom, so we took some cute familypictures!

Yesterday, the CD arrived with the Fotos Angelika Joswig took the 24.01.10, when the puppies had been 4 weeks old. The photosession was a lot of fun, and the photos are so wonderful!

The puppies are 5 weeks old now, they all weight over 2 kg and they had a week full of action!
The "ball-bath" arrived. The love to play, and sometimes sleep in it!
They run to the door, when they need to make their small or big businnes, and in the meantime, they like it, to be outside in the snow and to have a look around. Very short of course, because it`s quite cold here!
Today, I cutted the nails again, and they got their second anthelmintic therapy.
We had a lot of visitors this week, kids included, and we made a first trip with the car today.
The pups are running around now in the whole ground floor, and sometimes they meet Asali. But she always takes flight! I build up 2 kennels for them, and they examined them very carefully!
I tried to take some new stacked photos, but that´s not very easy with the self-timer, because the puppies are very quick and they don`t want to stand still!

An exciting weekend is laying behind us!
Friday evening, Marion & Ebi, the owners of Jangua G`Tsula from Munich visited us, and we had a great evening! They brought treats for the girls, and 4 teddybears for the pups!
Saturday evening, Angelika & Hartmut Joswig  arrived from Dortmund, and with them, we had a big photosession on sunday! It was a lot of fun, and I had the chance, to take some nice photos as well! Thank you very much, for your visit and the gifts you brought! I´m looking forward to the photos!
Angelika & Hartmut had as well the chance to meet Ruben, the dad of the puppies, together with Nora, his owner and her mom! They came from Switzerland, to see the puppies!
Together with Nora, I took some stacked photos of the pups! Thank you very much Nora & Kristiina for you visit, the treats and the cool toys! It was great, to see you again!

The puppies are 3 weeks today, and their weight is now over 1,2 kg!
They all got their first little portion of meat today, and they loved it very much and wanted to have more!

Today, the puppies are 2 weeks!
They all opened their eyes, and they got their first anthelmintic therapy. In the meantime, they try to walk around a bit, and they try to play with each other. I could sit in the puppybox fot hours and watch them!
Last night, Iloua slept in the bed with us again for some hours, and our walks already start to get longer!

Yesterday, representatives af the club visited us, and they were very satisfied about everything!
Iloua and the puppies are fine, the boys weight is now over 700 gr!

Today, the puppies are already one week old...time is running!
They are all fit and healthy, and doubled their birthweight already!
Iloua is taking good care for the puppies and she gets along again with Asali on neutral territory! Together we make short walks 3-4 times a day!
